Song of Songs 4:7

“You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”

Every woman wants to be thought of as significant, to be seen, and selected. Because the enemy knows this to be our deepest desire and therefore our greatest vulnerability, he uses self-doubt as a main weapon to hinder our growth. He tries to use this to contaminate anything we feel called to do. We doubt ourselves as to whether we truly hear God calling us and then when we do take the step forward, we doubt we are doing it correctly. Maybe I am just speaking to myself, perhaps this is something I need to hear. But if you at anytime feel the same way I do, please listen, God loves you just the way you are. He knows who he calls forth to do certain things. He does not set us up to fail. He thinks we are beautiful, well capable of doing what he asks, how can he not, he provides for us to be able to do it. Are we saying he is not capable? He gives us the provision to carry on whatever he has asked us to. He does not leave us hanging on like that infamous cat hanging from the wall. Darling, he thinks you can do all things through him who gives you strength! Do you rely on God?

Dear God, Thank you for you love for me and how you see me. Help to remember I am beautiful in your sight. Help me to show others their beauty through your eyes. Give me your strength to step forward and to not listen to what the enemy is saying to me. I pray this in your Son’s name, Amen.
