Psalm 9:11-12

“Sing the praises of the Lord, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done. For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.”

Zion is another name for Mount Moriah, the hill on which the temple was built in Jerusalem. In these verses it mentions God being enthroned in Zion, but that is not the only place that God lives, he is always everywhere. He is everywhere which confirms that he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted. He remembers and knows everything that we do and go through. He is there to avenges us. He will not ignore us nor forsake us. Are you seeking God?

Dear God, thank you that you love me so much that you would never abandon me. Help to share this with others. Give me your wisdom to know that you are always everywhere. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
