Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Is it okay for a Christian to not be, okay? I ask this because there are times when I struggle with daily life, the daily Christian life. When I first attended church, I would look at other women and swear they had it all together, they got up early, had their time with the Word and God and never lost their temper or became despondent. Well over the years I have learned that this was not totally a true fact. Some did accomplish what I wished I could, but they were not haughty about it. There were others who struggled to routinely do what God would want them to do. And then there were some like me who struggled with the whole way of being a Christian. I am not talking about having a relationship with God, or that I was not saved and trying, but that life did not come that easy for me. But that’s okay! God is always with us and waiting for us to turn to Him to help with our daily lives whether good or bad. Where do you fall in the equation?
Dear God, thank you that you still love me in my struggles. Help me to rely on you more. Give me your desire to be in a relationship with me. Thank you for all your love for me. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
