1 Thessalonians 5:24

“He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.”

Its hard to sit and wait for just about anything, but I find it especially difficult waiting on God’s plan. It’s a natural part of life to want to know what is ahead for us and how it will all come together. To surrender is not the easiest thing to do, we want to know what is in store for us and our family, let alone how we are going to help others. Our own effort will not be enough at times to create the outcome we desire. Here’s the good news, the verse above gifts us with a stress-alleviating promise: God is here, and He will surely do it. This should give us relieve that it is not you or me that has to accomplish His will by ourselves. We have to flow with it, not against it. What do you need to flow with today?

Dear Lord, thank you that you are in control. Help me to remember that I am not living this life alone and the destiny you have for me is in your hands. Give me strength to help others see this also. Let your love flow through me and help me to let my path flow and help me not to fight against it. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
