Psalm 33:6

“By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.”

Do you understand your divine identity? To understand who God is and how you are made allows you to understand your divine identity. We don’t know what God looks like, but we know what He sounds like. Just think, this all started with God speaking, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.’ (Genesis 1:3). God is our Father, and teacher, but first and foremost God is Creator. He spoke life into being, with His words alone He brought about everything out of nothing. It’s who God is. His words spoken brought about the world and everything in it, including us. When we speak from a place of God’s will, we create the way God creates. Your voice is central to your identity. Your voice unlocks the greater possibilities and purpose in others. What are you using your voice for?

Dear Lord, thank you for allowing me to be your voice. Help me to remember this when I speak so that I may not cause harm but to cause good. Give me your voice and wisdom to see where a word from you is needed. Thank you that you love me so much that you created me to be a part of you. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
