2 Corinthians 10:4

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. ON the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

The resources that God gives us are not to be set upon a shelf. They are to be used and as they are used, God will provide more. We are not to use what the world uses as weapons, such as money, power, status, fame, and coercion. We should use God’s weapons which consist of prayer, faith, hope, love, God’s Word, and the Holy Spirit. These are more powerful and effective when fighting against what Satan would throw at us. When dealing with people who would try to break us down with their pride and rebellion against God, we may be tempted to rely on our own abilities. But nothing can break down these barriers down like that of God’s weapons. What weapons do you need today?

Dear God, thank you that you provide strength to those that believe in you. Help me to rely on your weapons and not my own. Give me the ability to be an example for others who would be fighting their own battles. Thank you that you love me so much that you would not let me be overcome with Satan’s plan. I pray all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
