Psalm 62:1
“My soul finds rest in God alone; My salvation comes from Him.”
In the world we live in today it is hard to find rest. We must look towards God to find that rest. It is easier for us to find advice and comfort from those around us, but do they know us like God does. He knows the plans He has for us. I am not saying we should not let others in or find advice from others but the first place we should be looking is towards God. Spending time in His rest is such a great blessing. God desires to impart something magnificent to us, directly and intimately into our souls. He desires to lead us into the incredible. We are better able to love others, think clearer, and become a vessel for God’s love, signs, wonders, and miracles. Are you ready for a miracle today?
Dear Lord, thank you that you love me so much that you offer rest to me if I only turn to you. Help me to remember to turn to you first in times of need and give me your eyes to see those around me that need you. Use me as your vessel to perform miracles and signs to your glory. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
