2 Corinthians 3:17-18
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’ glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
There is freedom in the Lord. How many times as a Christian have, we heard this saying? Do you believe it? When we accept Christ, the veil is lifted from our minds and eyes. We see that it is only through God that we can have freedom from sin, condemnation, and freedom from bondage. Then that person excepting Christ can reveal like a mirror, the reflection of God. The Holy Spirit’s way of transformation works better and lasts longer than even the miraculous revelation of Moses when he came down from the Mount after receiving the Ten Commandments. We have a clearer vision of what God wants and can reflect that to others. The Spirit works progressively with us to show us what we need to change. Are you ready for the Spirit to work?
Dear Lord, thank you for being there for me. Help me to be open to the Spirit in order to change what I need to change. Help me to reflect you to others and not be afraid that I might not know answers to questions that they ask. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
