1 Corinthians 1:28 (The Voice)
“God selected the common and the castoff, whatever lacks status, so He could invalidate the claims of those who think those things are significant.”
Where are you in your life today? Some of us might be stay at home parents, working in our careers, in school, suffering from illness, going through a divorce, or maybe just trying to find our confidence. Wherever you are God can use you. We might think to ourselves, how could He use me? Could He really reinvent me and use me for something glorious and new? Yes, God can use you! He does not pick only those who seem to have their acts together, He chooses those who can show how great He is and how much He loves everyone. God can do whatever He chooses to do. Now saying that does not mean that your calling or higher purpose is going to be easy. Anything worth having is worth believing in. Believing in God isn’t enough, if you don’t believe that, in God, you are more than enough. Do you feel like you are enough?
Dear God, thank you that you love me so much that you can make me enough for your calling. Help me to believe in you enough to believe that you can do anything through me. Give me the joy of bringing your love to others. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
