2 Corinthians 4:7
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all – surpassing power is from God and not from us.”
This verse gives us light into what has brought about our power in our salvation. It is through God that we are able to live. Though we are like jars of clay, God uses us to share the Gospel with others. This power dwelling in us, gives us the ability to reach out to others, to show God’s love and to witness to his glory. When we rely on God’s power and not our own, those around us will see his light shining through. People will be able to tell that you rely on a power source outside of your own being and they will want to know more. Are you shining God’s power through to those around you?
Dear Lord, thank you that enable us to be used as your vessels. Give me the power to let your light shine through to those around me. Help me to be an example of your love and glory. I pray all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
