Ephesians 2:10

“For we are Christ’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which He prepared in advance for us to do.”

Inside this verse we find four key parts, that of being Christ’s workmanship, created for good works, it was done in advance, and we were meant to do. Each word bringing purpose. Workmanship means that you are a custom creation. No cookie cutter being, unlike any other. Nobody here on earth has the things you do. God created you specifically to be you. You are tailor-made, a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Because of that we should never feel or act on being like others. Your fingerprint is unique, literally. You are a unique expression of God’s DNA. You have a specific mind and ability to carry out what God is calling you too. Part of discovering who you are is embracing that you were specifically made to be just who you are, created for such a time as this. What is one thing that makes you different from others?

Dear God, help to remember that I was designed by you. Help me to carry out what you have for me not for someone else. Please give me strength and courage to walk in your path you made for me. Thank you that you have made me who I am today. I pray all this in Jesus; name, Amen.
