1 John 5:14

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

Having faith is having an unwavering belief in something with no proof. It’s being hopeful, optimistic, and looks forward to the future with consistency and possibility. Trust is similar, but it relies more on someone’s character and the consistency they offer. Operating in trust requires us to go beyond faith. Thus, it is harder to trust than to have faith. When we put our trust in God, we are relying on Him to have already worked things out, whereas faith allows us to know that God is capable of all things. Its another thing to entrust God with all aspects of our lives. When we entrust, we act as if God worked things out already, versus questioning whether He will work things out. When we trust we allow God to strengthen us and help us to align with His heart. What are you trusting God for today?

Dear Lord, thank you that you are working on my faith and trust. Please help me to trust you with every aspect with my entire life. Give me your wisdom to know when you are working in my life. Help me to help others to see that they can trust you. I pray all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
