Psalm 139:17-18

“How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!”

This upcoming week I turn sixty years old. Wow. These are my thoughts. I sit here and wonder what God’s thoughts are about me as I reach this milestone. Even though we go through hard times throughout our lives God’s thoughts far exceed anything that we think, feel, or go through. Can you imagine, His thoughts about you cannot be measured. When we celebrate our lives on our birthday sometimes, we think back over the years as to what happened or what presents we have received on our special day. We might not think about the very first gift we were given, that of life. More than likely on that day you people were celebrating your birth. Even if individuals on earth did not celebrate, guess who did? That’s right God did. All of heaven celebrated you. God knew you before you were formed in the womb, He saw you and had a plan for you. (Psalm 139:16) I must remind myself every day that I am a child of God and that His thoughts about me cannot be numbered. Has social media captured you?

Dear Lord, thank you that your thoughts of me are endless and cannot be counted. Help me to remember this fact. Help me to see what the plan for my life is. Please give me your ear and eyes and the ability to have good thoughts about others. May you keep me well so that I may carryout your plan for my life. I pray all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
